According to reports, Khan visited Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 21 to attend the Indian Premiere League (IPL) match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
“The actor suffered dehydration due to the high temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad. He is under medical supervision though his health is stable. News sources quoted IANS news agency as saying that the security measures around the hospital have been intensified.
According to IANS, Khan’s designer-wife Gauri Khan and actor-friend Juhi Chawla also visited him in the hospital. However, an official statement from the hospital is still awaited.
Khan and Chawla co-own KKR along with Chawla’s entrepreneur-husband Jay Mehta.

On the work front, Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The actor will reportedly be next seen in King opposite his daughter Suhana Khan.

“Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital after suffering heat stroke,” said Ahmedabad (Rural) Police Inspector Om Prakash Jat.
According to them, security has been tightened around the hospital.
Ahmedabad recorded a maximum temperature of 45.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it rose to 45.9 degrees.
A video shared by KKR’s official X account shows Khan along with his children Suhana Khan and Abram Khan celebrating the team’s win with a lap of honors.
Khan also greeted the fans and players at the stadium.
