Mythri Movie Makers — the makers of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ — on Sunday unveiled a new poster of the much-anticipated Telugu action drama, featuring Allu Arjun — one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema — in a unique and terrifying role.
In the new poster, the Telugu star appears as Pushpa Raj, sitting on a throne made of gold. One can see flames rising from the top of the throne, echoing Pushpa Raj’s iconic line “Pushpa ante flower anukuntiva?! Firee!” (Pushpa is not a flower, he is fire!).

Pushpa’s weapon of choice, an ax or two axes, is prominently displayed against the fiery background. Interestingly, this flaming symbol with two axes also became Pushpa’s logo, visible on the vessels behind him.
The Telugu star also teased his fans with a brand new poster of the film. The actor also shared on Instagram that the first trailer of the film will be released on April 8 (at 11:07 AM), which happens to be his birthday.

Once shared, Arjun’s post went viral with 14.91 lakh likes and 8937 comments. One of his fans responded: “I’m waiting.” Another mentioned, “Pushpa is Back”, Boos is back responded another. while many others posted fire emojis.
In the sequel, Pushpa’s quirkiness has increased significantly, evident in his flashy shirt, boxers and Kolhapuri chappals.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is directed by Sukumar and also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media and will be released on August 15, 2024.
Allu won the National Film Award for his performance in the first part.
