MrBeast becomes most subscribed YouTuber, overtakes T-Series

Pune – Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast has overtaken T-series to become the most subscribed Youtuber. US YouTube announced the news on social media platform X on Sunday along with the latest subscription figures compared to T-series. In his post, he mentions, “After 6 years, we finally got our revenge on PewDiePie.” Tesla boss Elon Musk was one of the first to congratulate MrBeast.

MrBeast’s YouTube channel currently has 267 million subscribers, while in extremely close competition, T-Series has 266 million. Last month, MrBeast challenged the T Series CEO to a boxing match. his happened at a time when T-Series enjoyed the most subscribers on the YouTube channel and MrBeast was approaching the number of followers.

Swedish YouTube star Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie was the highest earning YouTuber in the world. He has garnered a lot of attention for hosting video game commentary. At one point it surpassed T-Series to become the most subscribed. However, the tables turned in 2017, after Disney cut ties with PewDiePie when the company discovered that some of his videos contained Nazi references. Later in 2020, Felix announced that he would not post content on YouTube once he reached 102 million subscribers.
