Ed Sheeran is in India and made a surprise visit to a school in Mumbai. Photos from his recent visit have been doing the rounds on social media as fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
Ed shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen interacting with students and singing songs to them in class.
Ed is in India to perform in Mumbai on the last leg of his ongoing tour on March 16th. His tour is called the +–=÷× Tour. This performance is part of his tour of Asia and Europe in 2024.

Arriving at the school ahead of his concert, Ed said in the video: “So I just arrived in Mumbai, India. Today we will visit some schools, play some songs. I also heard that the children have something to play for me too.”

For the elementary school children, it was a moment to remember as Ed spent time interacting and playing games with them. He even played many small performances inside the venue.
Ed kept the meeting casual and was seen in a plain white t-shirt and shorts. He also took his guitar with him and played his famous song Shape of You.
Ed Sheeran concert in Mumbai
Ed is all set to light up the stage in Mumbai on March 16, marking his second concert in India since 2017. The concert will open at 3pm with a performance by Prateek Kuhad. Calum Scott will also appear as a special guest. Sheeran will begin performing at 7:15 p.m. General tickets cost ₹9,500, while special tickets for the south deck cost ₹16,000.
