Punjabi singing sensation Diljit Dosanjh has finally revealed the Indian dates for his much anticipated Dil-Luminati Tour in September. The excitement surrounding the tour was palpable as fans eagerly awaited pre-sales and general ticket sales.
On September 10, pre-sale tickets for the concert were launched, which were completely sold out within minutes. A general sale followed on Thursday afternoon and the same frenzy ensued. Social media platforms were flooded with reactions from fans expressing their disappointment and amazement at the speed of the sell-out.
Diljit’s tour will kick off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26 this year. After Delhi, the tour will reach Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh and Guwahati. Recently, Diljit said in a note that he is excited to bring his tour to India. Diljit also shared the dates on Instagram and excited fans flooded the comments section.
Pre-sales
The pre-sale for Diljit’s Dil-Luminati India Tour started earlier on September 10 exclusively for HDFC Pixel credit card holders. These cardholders were given a 48-hour period to purchase tickets along with an additional 10% discount. However, even this early access proved just as competitive, with tickets selling out in just two minutes.
The pre-sale offered fans a slightly more affordable range of ticket prices, starting at Rs 1,499 for Silver (seated) and Rs 3,999 for Gold (standing). Despite this range, however, demand greatly exceeded supply. When the general public sale opened at 12:59 PM on September 12, tickets for the premium categories, including the fan pit section at Rs 19,999 and the gold section at Rs 12,999, were sold out by 1 pm, leaving many fans empty. – transferred in seconds.
