Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child. The couple confirmed the long-running rumors of their pregnancy with an Instagram post shared on Thursday morning. The baby is due in September, according to Deepika Padukone’s Instagram announcement.
She shared a picture with the words “September 2024” surrounded by pink and blue baby clothes.

Speculations that Padukone might be pregnant hit a tipping point after her midriff was allegedly hidden while wearing a glittering saree on the British Academy Awards (BAFTA) red carpet recently.
Earlier, the couple was in the news for their candid chat with filmmaker-producer Karan Johar on Koffee with Karan 8. During the episode, Deepika Padukone talked about the time she and Ranveer Singh were dating.
Deepika Padukone on starting a family
Padukone also talked about starting a family this January. “Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day we start our own family,” Padukone told Vogue.
She went on to talk about the values that she and Ranveer would like to instill in their children. The couple tied the knot in twin wedding ceremonies on November 14 and 15, 2018 in Italy’s Lake Como.
