Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh started a new chapter in their lives today by welcoming their first child. According to reports, they are blessed with a baby girl.
Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February this year in the form of an Instagram post that simply read “September 2024” surrounded by newborn-related motifs. The actress debuted her baby bump later in the year during the promotions of her pan-Indian film Kalki 2898 AD.
Earlier this week, the two shared pictures from their adorable maternity shoot. The monochrome pictures showed Deepika proudly flaunting her baby bump with Ranveer holding her in various poses. Speculations about the baby’s birth over the weekend started on Saturday evening after the two actors were spotted arriving in a car at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. The moment was captured by a number of paparazzi eager to capture the moment. Reports stated that Ranveer’s mother and sister arrived at the hospital soon after, followed by Deepika’s family as well.

On the professional front, Deepika and Ranveer will next be seen in ‘Singham Again’ which is slated for Diwali 2024. Ranveer will next be seen in Aditya Dhar’s upcoming action film and Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’.

Deepika is currently one of the highest paid actresses in Hindi cinema. The daughter of badminton ace Prakash Padukone has been acting in Hindi films for over 17 years. Ranveer is widely regarded as one of the biggest stars of his generation in India. He was part of several blockbusters in a career spanning ten years. The two actors met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela in 2013 and started dating soon after. They tied the knot in 2018.
