The health benefits of regular activity exercise and physical workout cannot be ignored. Anyone can benefit from exercise, regardless of age and physical ability.

Going to the gym regularly is fine, but don’t worry if you don’t have a lot of time to exercise every day. Any amount of workout is better than nothing. That one-two punch gets your blood flowing and lowers your risk of heart disease and stroke (called coronary heart disease).

Regular exercise can help prevent or manage many health problems and anxiety, including:

Metabolic Syndrome.
High blood pressure.
Type 2 diabetes.
Anxious.
Anxiety.
Types of cancer.
Arthritis.
Falls.
It may also help improve cognitive function and reduce the risk of death from all causes.

Exercise and physical activity are a great way to feel good, improve your health, and have fun experiences The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommends the following exercise guidelines:

Aerobic exercise.
Do at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity. Or get at least 75 minutes of aerobic activity each week. You can strike an even balance between moderate-intensity and high-intensity exercise. The goal is to spread this exercise over several days of the week or more.

For additional health benefits, guidelines recommend 300 minutes or more of aerobic activity per week. Plenty of exercise will help you lose or prevent weight gain. But even a small amount of physical activity can help. Short periods of activity during the day can add up and provide health benefits.

Strength training.
Strength-train each major muscle group at least twice a week. One set of each exercise is sufficient for health and well-being. Use a weight or resistance level heavy enough to tire the muscle after about 12 to 15 repetitions.
