Valorant – Riot’s Ghooter Game

Have you ever wondered why social media and portals are flooded with news about the video game Valorant? This is because the game has come out of closed beta and is now available to players all over the world, including India. For now, only some people with access to the closed beta can use it. This means that anyone who has a gaming gadget that supports the game can download and play it right away. Since it is an online multiplayer game, it requires an uninterrupted internet connection. The game is powered by Unreal Engine and is developed and published by Riot Games, a California-based gaming company known for games like League of Legends.

Where can I buy this game?

Like most online multiplayer games such as PUBG, CS GO and Fortnite, Valorant is free to play. The game is currently only available on Windows PC. For now, Valorant is only available on playvalorant.com. So you won’t find it on Steam or the Epic Games store.

What are the rules of the game?

Valorant is a tactical shooter game consisting of two teams of 5 players each. Any player can log in and play remotely from anywhere in the world. Each game consists of 25 rounds and the first team to win 13 rounds wins. Players can choose a game character called an agent at the beginning of the game. Players can purchase abilities and weapons at the beginning of the game.

Can your computer do this?

Valorant’s download file is only 7.3 GB, which is small compared to the file size of many computers today. As for the hardware, the minimum specs required to play at 30 FPS (frames per second) are Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU and Intel HD4000 GPU. However, for a fun 60FPS game, Riot Games recommends the Intel Core i3-4150 CPU and Nvidia GeForce GT 730 GPU. To get the best experience at 144 FPS and above, gamers must have an Intel Core i5-4460 and Nvidia GTX 1050Ti processor clocked at least 3.2 GHz.

Are you having problems with the game?

Shortly after the game’s release, players in various regions reported on social media that the game was constantly repeating. Riot Games announced that the game will be closed first in Europe and then in the Asia-Pacific region for maintenance purposes. Many users are reporting that they cannot access the Valorant Battle Pass. These include items that players can unlock as they progress through the game.

How can Riot Games ensure fair competition?

In order to ensure fair competition between games and prevent cheating, Riot Games’ anti-cheat system called Vanguard comes into play during the game. Prevents players from using speed cheats (which allow players to move faster than others) and wall cheats (which allow players to see opponents through walls). Developers are working on adding target lock (auto-lock on enemy target) and bot (auto-kill) to Vanguard as soon as possible.
