Part of her Mahra M1 brand, the perfume has already sparked global intrigue, largely due to its name and the timing of its release, just after her public split from her husband.
Mahra, a 30-year-old member of Dubai’s royal family, shared a teaser of the perfume on Instagram, revealing a sleek black bottle engraved with the word ‘Divorce’. The symbolism behind the name is unmistakable and directly refers to her high-profile divorce from Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, an Emirati businessman.
The teaser video, released a day earlier, features striking visuals of broken glass, black petals and a black panther.
The announcement of the ‘Divorce’ perfume comes just weeks after Sheikha Mahra made international headlines with her explosive Instagram post in July 2024 when she publicly ended her marriage.
