Microsoft Windows users around the world including India, Australia, Germany, United States, United Kingdom and others are seeing blue screen issue on their laptops. This caused their systems to automatically reboot or shut down. Companies like Dell Technologies said this crash was caused by a recent CrowdStrike update.
The outage, which began Thursday night and affected Microsoft’s Central America region, crippled the core systems of many airlines, including American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Allegiant and Sun Country in the US, as well as IndiGo and other airlines in India.
It was not immediately clear if all of the reported outages were related to Crowdstrike issues or if other issues were at play.

The buggy update was reported to be caused by CrowdStrike’s Falcon Sensor not working properly and conflicting with Windows.

What is the Blue Screen of Death?
A blue screen of death (BSOD) is a critical error screen that appears in Windows operating systems. It happens when the system crashes due to a serious problem that prevents it from working safely. When this error occurs, the computer restarts unexpectedly and unsaved data is likely to be lost.
In this case, the Blue Screen of Death error states, “Your computer has encountered a problem and needs to restart. We’re just gathering some error information, we’ll reboot for you.”
