NDA Majority Narendra Modi looks set to return as Prime Minister of India for a third consecutive term as NDA wins 293 out of 543 Lok Sabha seats while INDIA Alliance Opposition Performance bloc gets the final result. 232. But the BJP fell short of the majority mark and BJP Victory 241 seats, making it dependent on NDA partners TDP and JD(U) Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar to form its government.

As Prime Minister Modi declared a historic mandate for a government that has served two consecutive full terms on Tuesday, leaders of the INDIA bloc rushed to Delhi to possibly discuss efforts to form a government.

TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that he is firmly with the NDA and will be in Delhi for a meeting of NDA leaders. “I am going to New Delhi today to attend the NDA meeting. I am with NDA only. I will let you know if there are any further developments,” Naidu told reporters in his first remarks after the TDP’s stellar performance in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.

The first meeting of the National Democratic Alliance, which won a majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, will be held in Delhi today in the presence of top leaders of the alliance parties. The next few days could see hectic negotiations as the alliance parties negotiate hard for the plum posts in the Modi 3.0 cabinet. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the NDA party meeting today.
