The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the squads for the upcoming multi-format series against South Africa Women on Thursday, May 30. Star batsman Jemimah Rodrigues is included in all three squads after missing the recent T20I series against Bangladesh due to injury. .
In its press release, the BCCI confirmed that the inclusion of Jemimah Rodrigues and Pooja Vastrakar is subject to fitness. Delhi’s top batsman Priya Punia is part of the ODI set-up as she last played international cricket in July 2023.
Experienced batsman Yastika Bhatia is missing from all the three teams and has been replaced by young uncapper Uma Chetry. Mumbai Indians spinner Saika Ishake selected as stand-ins for T20I team.
