Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana or Plan is a major initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote women’s education. The program was launched on 22 January 2015 with the support of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
This study has two aims. The first is “Beti Bachao“, which means saving girls or balancing the sex ratio. The latter translates as Teaching Girls or “Beti Padhao“.

Eligibility Criteria for Beti Padhao Beti Bachao Yojana
Interested applicants must meet certain conditions to be eligible for the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program.
– Girls must be Indian.
– Applicant must have a daughter under the age of 10 in the family
– Applicant must have a Sukanya Samriddhi account with a financial institution
– NRIs are not eligible for this program.

Step 1: The applicant must go to a financial institution that offers the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program.
Step 2: They have to fill the application form or open their Sukanya Samriddhi account.
Step 3: Complete the form and send the required information to the staff.
Once verified, the money will be transferred to the girl’s account.

– Beti Bachao The Beti Padhao program allows parents to save money to support their daughter’s higher education and marriage.
– Parents can benefit from tax advantages under this program. They also earn high interest on their savings.
– The maximum amount a person can deposit into this account is Rs 1.5 lakh per year.
– Government will deposit funds to a beneficiary’s account.
According to the plan, a person has to deposit at least 1000 Rupees in an account at the Post Office or National Bank. Individuals can contribute to this fund for the next 14 years.
The plan allows parents to withdraw 50 percent of the money when their daughter turns 18. They can withdraw the remaining amount when they turn 21.
Individuals can use this money to manage expenses related to their daughter’s marriage.
