CBSE on Monday announced the Class 12 result on its official website – cbse.nic.in. More than 24,000 candidates scored above 95%, more than 1.16 million above 90 percent. As many as 35 thousand children registered for class 10 and 12 exams this year.
Earlier on May 11, CBSE released the schedule of mark verification, revaluation and scanned copies of answer sheets for class 10 and 12 board exams 2024. According to the circular issued by CBSE, those students who are not satisfied with their results can pay for mark verification, revaluation and scanned copies of answer sheets within the given schedule and no application after the last date and in offline mode will be accepted by the board as it would violate the important exam security protocol.

The Class 10 exams started on February 15 and ended on March 13, while the Class 12 exams were held between February 15 and April 2. Exams were held in individual shifts lasting two to three hours, depending on the subject. The exam time was between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM or 1:30 PM depending on the length of the exam.
The overall pass percentage this year was 87.98 percent, which is marginally higher than last year.
A total of over 1.621 million candidates appeared for the exam, which was held in 7,126 centres. More than 122,000 candidates were placed in the “department”. This year, the number is slightly lower than last year, officials said.
Trivandrum district in Kerala recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.91 percent. In the national capital, Delhi West had a pass percentage of 95.64, while Delhi East had a pass percentage of 94.51 percent.
