Mayank Yadav, Quinton de Kock lead LSG beat RCB by 28 runs

Chasing a target of 182 runs against Lucknow Super Giants on April 2 at the M Chinaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, Royal Challengers were all out for 153 runs. LSG beat RCB by 28 runs to record their second win in the ongoing tournament.

RCB lost Virat Kohli (22), Glenn Maxwell (0), Faf du Plessis (19) and Cameron Green (9) in the span of just 8 overs. Subsequently, Rajat Patidar (29) and Mahipal Lomror (33) tried their best to keep the innings going but could not sustain the pace of Mayank Yadav and Yash Thakur. Until 19.4. RCB were bowled out for 153 runs.

For LSG Mayank Yadav took three wickets, Naveen-ul-Haq two wickets while Yash Thakur and Marcus Stoinis picked one each.

Earlier, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) scored 181/5 after 20 overs. Quinton de Kock played a magnificent 81 while vice-captain Nicholas Pooran provided some acceleration in the death overs. Glenn Maxwell bagged two crucial wickets for Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won the deciding toss against Lucknow Super Giants and Faf du Plessis has announced that the home team will be chasing. Local boy KL Rahul is excited to start batting at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and will look to give LSG a strong start.
