Madhya Pradesh government launched Ladli Laxmi Yojana in 2007. The main aim of the program is to change the negative attitude of society towards the birth of a girl child. In addition, important initiatives are aimed at improving the education and health of girls.
Goals of Mukhyamantri Ladli Yojana
1. Elimination of Child Mortality
The main aim of this program is to increase the female birth rate.
2. Girls advancement
Aims to increase and improve the proportion of girls in the country.
3. Encouragement of girls education
aims to encourage girls education so that they can have a secure future.
4.Elimination of Child Marriage
It aims to abolish the practice of child marriage that exists in many countries.
5. Compliance with Girl Child
It aims to eliminate and strengthen all kinds of discrimination against girls in society.
The eligibility criteria for Mukhyamantri Ladli Yojana are as follows:
1. The beneficiaries must be a native of Madhya Pradesh
2. The scheme is applicable for girls who are not married before the age of 18.
3. The scheme is applicable only for those below the poverty line.

Benefits of Mukhyamantri Ladli Yojana
Financial Aid
The Government of Rajasthan will provide financial aid in the entire amount of Rs. 100,000 as the girl’s wedding.
Subsidy
Beneficiaries will receive the subsidy in their accounts according to the period determined by the state.
Grants Benefits
The government grants benefits by providing financial assistance to the parents when the first girl child is born.
Allotment Fund
State Government Allotment Fund Rs. 2,221 crore has been allocated as a program to help girls in the state.
